About the Learning Support Centre (LSC) at Selworthy School

We offer a welcoming environment where you can come for a drink and a chat, to look at the resources and equipment we have on offer and discuss your specific needs. We house a library of the latest professional publications and educational media as well as a range of books.

The LSC is designed to be flexible as well as visually inviting and relaxing. This enables us to work supportively and collaboratively with professionals, parents and our local community to ensure the best possible provision for children, young people and adults with Special Educational Needs.

We also have a meeting room, with the capacity to seat up to 14 people depending on requirements. The simplicity of the design along with the interactive screen offers a professional environment to conduct meetings and this space is available to hire.

Special educational needs and disabilites information

All schools, childcare and SEND providers must make their policy and provision for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) available on their website. This is usually published in the provider's SEN information report. This link takes you to where you can find this provider's SEN information report.

If you cannot find what you are looking for or you have questions about the provider's SEN provision, you should contact the provider directly.

We usually hold some information about a provider's policy and provision and you can find what we do hold here.
