Description

The Motability Scheme enables disabled people to use their government-funded mobility allowance to lease a new car, scooter or powered wheelchair.

  • Are you eligible
  • The Scheme is open to anyone who receives one of the following benefits, and has at least 12 months’ award length remaining when they apply: Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement Non-drivers can apply for a car as a passenger, nominating two other people as drivers, and a parent or carer can apply on behalf of a child aged three or older.
