Eastside Lane, Bawdrip, Bridgwater, Somerset TA7 8QB, United Kingdom
We are a Somerset based, small, friendly company which provides a support service to those people who receive Direct Payments, Personal Health Budgets or people who privately employ carers or Personal Assistants (Care) to allow them to remain living at home independently.
We are able to offer a specific service to support you to apply for funding. And subject to you meeting the required criteria, will enable either you, or your carers/Personal Assistants (Care) (or both), to receive person-centred training. This will either refresh, or gain additional skills or qualifications, to enhance the levels of care which are given or are received.
This training is externally funded, so is therefore, at no cost to yourselves.
The training is usually undertaken within the home environment, in order to reduce levels of disruption.
We have a team of dedicated, experienced, and qualified trainers, who are able to deliver quality and friendly training, in a non-formal way, inter-active way, to enhance the learning experience.
All trainers are DBS checked, and have backgrounds in working within Health and Social Care.
Often our learners have started off with small starter sessions, and have chosen to progress onto Level 2 or Level 3 Health and Social Care qualifications.
People who are in receipt of Direct Payments or Personal Health budgets, may need additional support in order to support and manage their carers or Personal Assistants (Care). We are able to offer one to one employer support training to assist you to gain experience and knowledge, in order to help you to manage and support your staff.
We are also able to offer a thorough induction for your carers/Personal Assistants (Care) which covers 15 standards, and is often referred to as “The Care Certificate”.
Training can include:
All training is developed to meet the needs of you as an Employer, and also those of your employees as carers/Personal Assistants.
