Children and Young People’s Therapy Service

Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech and Language Therapy for children and young people aged up to 19 years.

This is a community service for people in Somerset aged up to 19 years who have, for example, difficulties with:

  • talking and communicating
  • eating, drinking or swallowing
  • mobility and posture
  • physical skills such as balance and co-ordination
  • movement (motor) skills
  • sensory processing
  • thinking (cognition) skills

We can offer advice and have an open referral system so anyone can refer a child provided they have the young person’s or parental consent.
