Accessible Play Equipment in Wembdon

  • Type of SEND provision:

Description

Following a successful application to the National Lottery Fund, Wembdon Parish Council are delighted to announce the arrival at Wembdon Playing Fields of two new pieces of play equipment.

  • A roundabout, which is suitable for use for even the heaviest of wheelchairs, and can also be enjoyed by able-bodied children and their parents and carers.
  •  A trampoline, which again is strong enough to accommodate a wheelchair and carer.

Thanks also to the National Lottery Community Fund there is a fully accessible toilet, “Changing Places” standard, in the Village Hall nearby. This is accessible using a Radar key.

All are welcome to use this equipment, hope to see you there soon!

Special educational needs and disabilites information

All schools, childcare and SEND providers must make their policy and provision for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) available on their website. This is usually published in the provider's SEN information report. This link takes you to where you can find this provider's SEN information report.

If you cannot find what you are looking for or you have questions about the provider's SEN provision, you should contact the provider directly.

We usually hold some information about a provider's policy and provision and you can find what we do hold here.
