Working with SEND services?

Please note there are important developments to the SEND Professional Portal starting from this week.

Forms are now being released electronically to all education settings, following previous releases for early years, primary, special and secondary schools/ settings.

This development will provide huge benefits for all in terms of speedier handling and processing of forms, as well as keeping parents informed.

The new developments are:

From Monday 7 September it is now mandatory for all 0-25 education settings – including further education settings to submit Statutory Request for Assessment and Annual Review forms electronically, via the SEND Professional Portal.

In addition, from the same date, it is also mandatory for the Appendix E ( Full Social Care ) and the Appendix F (Children and Young People Therapy Services assessment information)to be submitted via the Portal. Following each panel, the evidence required within the assessment stage will be requested through the Portal. The advice will then be collected and submitted via the Portal.
