A range of affordable activities are on offer for children, young people and their families over the Christmas holidays.

In it you’ll find a calendar bursting with ideas of things to do, including:

  • Saturday 19 / Sunday 20 / Monday 21 December – festive fun-filled activities in Frome! Purple Elephant Productions is running sessions across three days in different locations. A donation of just £1 per child is suggested. This includes a lunch parcel for every person, provided by Fair Frome.
  • Monday 21 / Monday 28 December – Yeovil Inclusion Partnership is hosting online activities including arts and crafts, making a musical instrument and storytelling. Sessions are for anyone aged 0-25 years and cost just £3.
  • Tuesday 29 / Thursday 31 December – Somerset social enterprise Neroche Woodlanders is running events for children aged 2-16 years at its one hundred acres of forest on the edge of the Blackdown Hills near Taunton.  Three hour sessions cost £10 per family.

For those staying home during the upcoming school holiday, a range of Christmas or Winter postal activity packs and online ‘virtual’ activities are available.
