December 2019 Update

Broken links
We have reviewed all of the Local Offer pages and repaired the links that were broken. We have a program that now tells us if there are broken links so we can try to make sure this does not happen. Please continue to use the feedback form at the bottom of every page on this website to let us know if you find any broken links.

Not up to date
All service records have been reviewed and updated to make sure they are accurate. A review of the information pages has taken place and work is underway to ensure they are all up dated. We expect this to be completed in January.

Simple, clear and useful – what we plan to do
As we review the pages on the Local Offer we will be ensuring that the information is presented in a clear and easy to read way. We have been talking to local families to find out what they want to be included. Based on this feedback we will be including information on bullying, helping your child to sleep and pathways to support.

Improved Search
We know that many people have found the search function difficult to use so there has been a lot of work to improve this. Work will continue over the next 12 months to make it even better and we are looking at additional things to support families to find information easily.

All families need to be involved
We are running a series of events to support services in developing their offer and for local families to be involved in the design. We now have a new get involved feature on the website called Upvote which allows people to feedback what they would like to see included and vote on suggestions that have been made.

Facebook page
We have launched a Facebook page which shares events taking place locally. We have also created an area on the Local Offer website for people to advertise local events and courses. We now need to raise awareness of these to ensure people use them and they become useful.
