The Community Inclusion and Activity Team will be supporting grant funded activities to run in line with government guidelines.

We are still offering activity day passes and the Somerset MAX Card for families to use.

Free Activity Day Passes are available all year round for all families in Somerset with a child or young person with a disability or additional need.

Free Activity Day Passes

Our office phone line, 01823 358117 is open, or you can email, so families can contact us. Sadly at this time the drop in clubs will remain closed until further notice. Our activity calendar will remain virtual and be available here.

Useful websites and activity suggestions

Our Somerset Local Offer Events Calendar has upcoming accessible opportunities to relax, get involved or improve skills for children and young people with SEND or their parent/carers. Events may be virtual or face to face but will clearly state in their entry.

You can sign your children up to do SASP Challenges on their website and they can win certificates when they complete a challenge. SASP Challenge events can be found here. You can also find some activities that have been adapted for home on their website.

We have collaborated with local providers and Somerset Parent Carer Forum to create a booklet of activities you can do at home, including virtual opportunities.
You can access your free downloadable copy of the booklet here.

One of our local Parent and Family Support advisers (PFSA), Jen Lynch, has created 2 useful guides on things you can do at home over this time.
