Family Fun Day

The Community Inclusion and Activity Team are hosting a Family Fun Day on the 2 July 2022 at Brookside Academy, from 10am – 2pm.

Come along, meet providers, other families and enjoy the activities!


The Community Inclusion and Activity Team are supporting grant funded activities that run across Somerset, this includes holiday activities and regular clubs.

We continue to offer exciting activity day passes for a variety of locations and the Somerset MAX Card for families to use.

Free Activity Day Passes are available all year round for all families in Somerset with a child or young person with a disability or additional need.

Useful websites and activity suggestions

Our Somerset Local Offer Events Calendar has upcoming accessible opportunities to relax, get involved or improve skills for children and young people with SEND or their parent/carers. Events may be virtual or face to face but will clearly state in their entry.

You can sign your children up to do SASP Challenges on their website and they can win certificates when they complete a challenge. SASP Challenge events can be found here. You can also find some activities that have been adapted for home on their website.

Get outside in Somerset
The Get Outside in Somerset website provides tips, advice and guidance on how to keep or get active outdoors whatever your ability. Covering a wide variety of activities, events and challenges, as well as information on a wide range of topics across health and wellbeing, the website will be regularly updated with new activities to inspire the Somerset community.
