Westonzoyland Pre-School @ Westonzoyland School
We operate our Pre-School and Reception class as a foundation stage unit under the guidance of the Headteacher and accountable to the school’s governing body. Operationally and day to day the setting is run by an enthusiastic supervisor working in Unison with our Early Years teacher and the qualified staff team to ensure that all children receive high quality, stimulating provision. We benefit from having access to all of the resources available to a school including use of the hall and field. The Pre-School gets involved in many whole school activities like sports day, fundraising days, special assemblies and visits to the local church etc. We have a proven record of effective transition to school; for the last 2 years there has been no induction period into reception year – all children in full time day 1. This has been hugely successful for children and very popular with parents. This is an ideal setting for any child to get their learning journey off to a wonderful beginning. You must visit to see the space and provision in place and if you bring your child be warned they may not want to leave….
Special educational needs and disabilites information
All early years providers should make their policy and provision for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) available on their website. This is published in the providers SEN information report. You can find this providers SEN information report here.
If you cannot find what you are looking for or you have questions around the providers SEN provision you should contact the provider directly.
Wheelchair access notes
The whole building is fully accessible to both wheelchair users and children with any disability
