Wells, Somerset, BA5 2HB
I run an early years education and childcare setting and a small school holiday club.;; ;; I follow The Curiosity Approach and support children’s learning through their individual interests, providing a wide range of real and authentic play resources alongside some traditional toys.;; ;; I work from my garden, conservatory and large kitchen diner and make the most of our beautiful local countryside, committing to at least one day a week of learning in and through nature, following a Forest Childcare learning journey.;; ;; I am committed to providing a warm, welcoming, safe and fun setting where children thrive and flourish in an environment that is designed with thought and consideration to their wellbeing. I promote a love of lifelong learning that is based on play, curiosity, exploration and achievement, through encouragement and praise for their first attempts in learning and their successes.;; ;; I was graded outstanding by Ofsted in October 2019 under (the then) new Early Year Inspection Framework. The Inspector says “The childminder is an excellent role model for children and they demonstrate a strong sense of belonging. The childminder gives children praise for their achievements, thus supporting their confidence and self-esteem.”;; ;; My main provision is early years only, but I also provide a school holiday club for children from reception to the end of year 6. Spaces fill very quickly, so please book your places for school holiday club well in advance.;;
